NEWS!

Dear Parents, We will be having a science test on the unit, Air and Water, on Monday. We will also be having a short math quiz on Tuesday on Measurement. Your child will be bringing their book home on Monday to study. Please help them to study the following: Length using cm, Width using cm, Area using squares, Perimeter using cm We have had a very busy time here in room 156 since we came back from the Break. The children all finished their globes today and were quite excited to bring them home. We are continuing with our study of the world and Canada. We will be looking at Canada and world connections. I would like to thank the Moms and Dad who came in to help with the paper mache last week. It was a huge success as you will see when your child brings home his globe today. In science we will be studying the Growth and Changes in Animals. There will be more on this later. We are continuing with our Fairy Tale unit. Learning how to write a story with a beginning, middle and end is quite challenging, but the children are beginning to understand. Eventually we will be writing our own fairy tale which will be quite exciting when we publish them. In math we are finishing up on perimeter and area and will be starting a unit on addition and subtraction with and without regrouping. Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend! Mrs. Seitz
