Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all my families. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend filled with family and friends.
We had a very busy week last week. The children were all very excited on Friday to be baking pumpkin pie and eating it with ice cream and whipped cream! It was a great success and we learned about precedural writing through the use of a recipe.
We are continuing to learn about nouns and proper nouns in our writing, along with sentence structure. We will be learning about plural nouns this week. In math we will be focusing on tallying and graphing.
In Science we are continuing to study liquids and solids. This week we will be doing experiments to learn about the characteristics of each.
PLEASE remember to send in your trip forms and money for the Frog and Toad play. Also, there are still some children who have not sent in their interview sheets. These are due on Oct.14th.
